Winemaker
A working estate in Leyda Valley, Chile β Sauvignon Blanc farmed on decomposed granite and red clay over a thin layer of marine sediment, cool maritime, morning fog and afternoon ocean wind off the humboldt current. In the Crew model the winemaker stays anonymous until you enroll; until then the platform stands behind the data, the track record, and the samples. You meet them, and see the name, when you commit.
Nothing about this estate is large β a few parcels on decomposed granite and red clay over a thin layer of marine sediment, walked by the same hands every season.
βCooler nights than usual through spring. Flowering was clean. Cautiously optimistic about where this vintage is heading.β
β the winemaker, updated this month
I came up watching Sauvignon Blanc get pushed too hard for ripeness. I pick earlier than my neighbors, keep the alcohol down, and let Leyda Valley speak at its own volume.

Dug soil pits across the old block. You can watch the decomposed granite and red clay over a thin layer of marine sediment change with every shovel β it's why no two rows here taste the same.
