Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SplitVineyards' services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using our services.

Vine Allocation Services

Reservations and Payment

When you reserve vine allocations through SplitVineyards:

• Your reservation is subject to confirmation by the vineyard partner within 72 hours
• Payment is processed only after allocation confirmation
• Prices are in USD and include the stated vine allocation fee
• Shipping, taxes, and optional event fees are additional and calculated at checkout
• All sales are final once confirmed, subject to our cancellation policy

Allocation Terms

Your vine allocation includes:

• Dedicated vine rows for the specified vintage season
• Season updates from budbreak through bottling
• Estimated bottle allocation based on yield (typically 1-2 bottles per vine)
• Shipping of your bottles after aging (timing varies by vineyard)

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellations must be requested within 14 days of confirmation. Refunds are subject to a 10% administrative fee. Cancellations after harvest commencement are not eligible for refunds but may be transferred to a future vintage (subject to availability).

Age Restrictions

You must be at least 21 years of age (or the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction) to purchase vine allocations or receive wine shipments. By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Shipping and Delivery

Wine shipments are subject to local laws and regulations. We cannot ship to certain states or countries where restrictions apply. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws regarding wine delivery and acceptance.

Harvest Events

Optional harvest event attendance is subject to separate terms, capacity limits, and weather conditions. Event dates may change, and refunds for events are provided only if the event is canceled by the vineyard.

Intellectual Property

All content on SplitVineyards, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of SplitVineyards or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

SplitVineyards is not liable for crop failures, weather events, or other force majeure circumstances that may affect vintage quality or bottle allocation. We work with vineyard partners to provide alternative solutions when possible.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
