These vines sit on thin caliche and limestone over fractured granite of the llano uplift at 400–600 m. The estate has farmed Fredericksburg, Texas for generations; we kept the old blocks and rebuilt the cellar around gravity.

Limestone-plateau vineyards leaning on heat-tough Spanish and Rhône grapes that shrug off the Texas sun. I pick on flavor, not numbers, and I'd rather make less and mean it.
