The Tannat pushed its first leaves overnight — two days ahead of what my notebook says. high-altitude desert, intense sun, very cold nights, low rainfall is running warm. I'll take it, cautiously.

The history.
Cafayate, Salta was a farming town long before it was a wine name. The family sold fruit to bigger houses for years before keeping it back and bottling under our own label.

Philosophy.
I farm for the place, not the score. Sandy alluvial soils with gravel and calcareous content under Tannat. Native ferments, restrained oak, and the patience to bottle late rather than thin.
