Winemaker
Palomino on brilliant white albariza, raised under a veil of flor. The estate behind this lot is named only to enrolled members; until then you're backing the region, the style, and a verified track record — not a label.
The first vines here went in before the appellation lines were drawn. We still farm a handful of those old blocks on chalky white albariza, and rebuilt the cellar around them, not the other way round.
“Warm, early start, then it cooled off and steadied. Hot Atlantic-Mediterranean, cooled by the poniente wind The canopy's ahead of where I'd want it, so we're pulling leaves to keep air moving.”
— the winemaker, updated this month
Palomino on brilliant white albariza, raised under a veil of flor. I pick on flavor, not numbers, and I'd rather make less and mean it.

No joke: the first shoots are up. We walked the property and flagged the gaps to replant — chalky white albariza here doesn't forgive a lazy season.
